A Writer Finds Her Voice

I’m over at The Story Unfolding with Elora Nicole today talking about how I found my writing voice.  In this right-now-moment, I can tell you I am a writer.  I own it with pride.  There is no shame in it.  There is no expectation to which I must reach.  The call that I’ve been hearing is that I must be the real and authentic me – nothing more and nothing less.

I am on this writing-discovery-journey now and loving it.  You could not have told me a year ago that I would have found myself in this creative space or that I would have taken on the arduous journey of writing a novel in 30 days.  These things would not have been possible without my Story 101 family.

Today I want to share with you just a few writing insights I have learned along the story 101-way that continue to help me “own” my creative nature in a world brimming with noise.

Read more here, and share your story-writing journey.  I’d love to hear it.

  1. I so loved reading the voice you have found in writing and then in sharing that writing. You are a great inspiration of a true follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
