A Blessing for the Beloved

I am a writer.  I am one of many.  And I’m totally okay that my writing may not “fit” anything typical.  Authenticity is beautiful.  This past weekend I attended what will go down in my life’s history as one of the more transformative retreats I’ve ever attended.  It was marked with fire, purpose, vision-casting, and lively community.

I am a member of Story 1o1/Story Sessions with Elora Nicole.  When I began my journey, I didn’t really know what to expect.  I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted.  I only knew I wanted to write, and write, and write.  But … I wanted to be in community.  Joining Story 101 was one of the best investments I’ve made in myself and my life.  I’ll share more on that experience later.  For today, I want to share with you a blessing on being the beloved – birthed from a moment of Shalom with BrandyGlows

You are a treasure.  You are loved.  Your life has meaning and purpose beyond your 9-5, beyond your job title, beyond your mommying and daddying and familying.  You need to know that you are a blessing, Beloved – as you are, no string attached.  So today, rest in the knowing that you are covered in prayer, covered in the divine, and cherished beyond measure.  Let these words fill your soul and steady your heart.  Dream to fly, and then fly

Beloved Blessing

May you grow in grace found in uncommon hours.

May the Light of love always saturate your soul piercing any darkness that seeks to quiet the fire blazing within you.

May you be met with mercy when fear whispers stand down.  Beloved, you WERE made for this!

Beloved, you are beautiful and chosen.

May your heart be shrouded in the knowing mystery of Divine love.

May your creative nature bond to your soul and set the world ablaze

Beloved of God, May you know the depths of love wholly and be wholly loved.

May you grow in grace in the uncommon hours.

May you be a point of light taking hold of hands reaching for a way out of the darkness.

Beloved one, be forever blessed.

Shalom to you – may there be nothing missing and nothing broken.

  1. Hi Marvia,

I wasn’t able to post my comment because I could not log into Word Press. I’m emailing my comment.

“This is a blessing I could not have claimed in my early walk with Christ. To be able to claim this I believe we must first be able to say, I love myself. A beautiful blessing! Thank you! Looking forward to reading about your Story 101 experience. :-)”

Thank you! Sorry you had trouble posting your comment. I appreciate you sharing. I think I will be writing more of these because there’s just a peace that comes in prayer and blessing. I don’t want to keep it to myself. It wasn’t until recently that I could say, “I am a writer,” but i can now. Here’s to more growing and blossoming. 🙂

  2. Jeanne,
Thank you so much! Isn’t amazing how we really are family!?! Only God does that – breaking barriers, breaking walls, piercing divides, and making a way for His children to find and support one another! He’s so good that way.
